Cartridge Pulse Jet Dust Collector

Pleated cartridges pack several times the filter area of bags into the same cabinet volume, so a cartridge unit fits where a baghouse will not. Cartridges withdraw from the front, which matters when the collector is installed against a wall.

• cartridge dust collector is arranged around a front bank of thirty-two filter cartridges. Dust-laden air enters through the inlet at the top of the front face and moves across the cartridge bank, where dust is trapped on the filter surface while clean air passes through. As the cartridges are standard working elements, spares are easy to order and filtration performance stays steady in daily service.
• Filter cleaning is handled automatically by the pulse jet system on the rear of the unit. Four vertical air tanks feed compressed air to a set of pulse valves, and each valve fires a short burst into the cartridge chamber in a programmed sequence. The bursts shake dust off the filter material while the collector keeps running, so frequent manual cleaning is avoided and operator workload stays low.
• Dust shaken from the cartridges falls into two large hoppers under the filter section and slides down to the square outlets, where a bin, airlock or conveyor connects through bolted flanges. The front is kept for the cartridge covers, so a filter change needs only a twist of each cover knob. This layout keeps the cleaning side at the rear separate from the service side at the front.
• The unit is offered with options that let it fit the buyer’s plant instead of the reverse. Cabinet colour can be chosen from blue, white, grey or green; the electrical system can be built for 380V, 400V or 480V supply; the overall size can follow the space on site; a customer logo can be applied on the cabinet; and the air volume can be sized to the working condition.
• Cartridge filtration of this type is used wherever dry dust is generated in production. Typical settings include metal welding and cutting shops, grinding and polishing stations, woodworking lines, powder coating plants and powder handling areas. Standing on its own steel frame without a complicated foundation, the collector can be placed directly next to the working area.
