Mining and minerals processing moves thousands of tonnes of dusty material every day. Crushers, screens, conveyors and loaders all shed dust, and in coal and sulphide ores the dust is both combustible and an ongoing respirable hazard. The challenge is volume: capture points are many and the air is abrasive.
| Process stage | Our equipment | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Crushers, screens and conveyor transfer points | Pulse-jet bag filter | Draws dust from hooded transfer points in high air volume; abrasion-resistant hoppers handle the grit. |
| Coarse, heavy fractions near crushers | Cyclone separator | Pre-separates the abrasive coarse fraction to protect the filter media downstream. |
| Dry grinding and milling circuits | Cartridge collector | Catches fine mineral dust with compact footprint for mill ventilation and bin vents. |
| Wet or high-moisture zones (screening with water sprays, washing plants) | Wet scrubber | Handles saturated air and fine clay-bearing dust that blinds dry media. |
| Maintenance and workshop fume | Welding fume extractor | Keeps weld and grinding fume out of workshop air in the maintenance bay. |
