Screw Conveyor
Custom-built
Move collected dust out of the hopper continuously.
Dust discharge and transfer conveyors matched to the hopper output of your collector. Shafted and shaftless designs, built to the length and pitch your layout requires.
Built to the discharge rate of the collector it serves, not adapted from a standard length.
Shaftless suits sticky and stringy material that would wrap a central shaft.
Removes collected dust while the plant runs, so the hopper does not need shift-based manual emptying.
Questions
If your question is not here, ask it in the form — an engineer answers, not a salesperson.
From the discharge rate of the collector, the bulk density of the dust and the distance it must travel. Send us those three figures and the layout.
Shaftless. Material that wraps around a central shaft will eventually stall a shafted conveyor.
The WLS shaftless screw conveyor has no center shaft or intermediate bearings, removing the most common blockage and failure points of conventional conveyors. Wet sludge, sticky dust, fibrous scraps and mixed materials flow freely through the deep U-shaped trough without winding or blocking. A high-torque gear motor drives the thick one-piece spiral at low speed. Fewer parts cut maintenance cost and boost uptime for dust collector discharge, sludge dewatering and ash conveying lines.
The conveyor handles powder, granular and small lump materials including dust collector ash, fly ash, cement, mineral powder, wood chips, sludge and filter cake. Industries include environmental protection, building materials, chemical, food processing, metallurgy and wastewater treatment. The shaftless spiral moves wet, sticky and fibrous materials that block conventional conveyors. Large blocks, adhesive pastes and winding fibers are not recommended; confirm your material with our engineers.
